This dessert tart was adapted by Florence Carnahan.

  1. First make the tart crust by combining the dry ingredients and drizzling the oil over them. Add the ice water and mix into a smooth dough. Roll the dough into a 12” circle and place into a 9” pan; trim as needed. Bake for about 10-15 minutes at 375. It will bake more once you add the filling.
  2. Make the filling while the crust is baking: Blend the cheese, milk, sugar, eggs, lemon zest, and vanilla until smooth. Clean and dry the berries.
  3. When the crust is cooled, spread the berries in a layer over the bottom of the crust and pour the cheese mixture over them. Bake for 45-50 minutes at 350. Cool on a wire rack.
  4. While the tart is cooling, combine jam with 1 teaspoon of water and microwave for 30 seconds or warm over low heat until the jam is melted. Pour over tart and serve once the jam has set.
