Ghosts and goblins were out in force on Halloween Night, visiting Main Street Merchants for tricks and treats, marching in the parade, and by the way, the band was GREAT! The Halloween Warming Tent held at the Cooperstown Farmers Market drew in many from the rain. The heaters were on, the food was yummy, and the drinks were hot, but as with all community efforts there are many to thank… thank you to all that supported this effort from the volunteers that served and organized to the folks that worked behind the scenes. With special thanks to Maddy Sandler and the Leo Club for the fabulous spooky decor and Ms. Karasek’s art students for painting the pumpkins this year! And the chefs of the best comfort food around, Acrospire Farm, Alex and Ika Restaurant, Highland Farm, The Otesaga Hotel, Schneider’s Bakery and Shadbush Farm. Thank you to the donors of the party supplies and equipment, The Cooperstown General Store, CVS, Cooperstown Natural Foods, Price Chopper, Tops Grocery, and Mountain View Dairy all made sure we had a wonderful time.
