It’s time once again to let our state representatives and senators know that we, their constituents, are paying attention when it comes to protecting our environment from the harms of fracking and its related infrastructure. 2014 will be a critical year in the anti-fracking fight, as Governor Cuomo has said he’ll make a decision before the 2014 elections. So, clear your calendar for January 8th and plan to join thousands from across the state to show our elected representatives just how much we care about our environment, our clean air and clean water, and our future.
Otsego 2000 will once again be organizing buses to Albany, with pick-up points in Oneonta, Cooperstown, and Sharon Springs. Buses will depart Oneonta at 8 am and will be returning no later than 5 pm. To reserve a spot on the bus, please email Susan Pastor at firstname.lastname@example.org and specify your pickup location – the cost is $15 per person roundtrip and we will do our best to make sure everyone has a seat. Any questions, please call 607 547 8881 or email Susan. See you on January 8th!
