Bicycling Skills 123 Class
April 21st 9:00 am – 1:00 pm
The Otsego Regional Cycling Advocates (ORCA) are hosting a bicycling skills class for youth, (age 7 years and up) and adults. The class will be held on Saturday, April 21st from 9:00 am – 1:00 pm. It will be at the Milford Central School, 42W Main Street, Milford NY as part of the 14th annual Earth Festival.
There will be a second class on Friday, May 11th from 3pm – 7pm at the Clark Sports Center, 124 County Road 52, Cooperstown.
**May 11th is also the rain date for the April 21st class.**
The class will follow the “Bicycling Skills 123” curriculum established by the League of American Bicyclists and will be taught by a local League-Certified instructor. Both classroom time and time on bikes are included in this course.
Prior registration is required by April 13th. Cost of the class is $20. The maximum number of participants will limited to 15. Participants younger than 14 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Each participant must provide their own bicycle and helmet.
